Volunteers are an integral part of the interdisciplinary team here at Gateway. Our mission is to provide patients and family members with companionship, friendship while on our hospice service.

VigilGateway Hospice Bedside Vigil is a program focused to care for our patients’ needs as well as the family who is experiencing a loss. Many people feel called to be present to help the dying, if they only knew how. The Vigil program trains men and women to fulfill this calling with hospice patients.
